Debating update – End of Round Robin, 2015

The round robins came to an end on Wednesday night for most of the teams. We now must wait to see who break into the Octo Finals.

The Junior teams finished, after five rounds, with the following results: SHC#1, two wins; SHC#3, three wins; SHC# 4, three wins. SHC#2 with four wins is in contention for the final rounds.

The Senior teams finished, after five rounds, with the following results: SHC#1, four wins: SHC#2, four wins; SHC# 3, two wins. This means both SHC#1 and SHC#2 may precede on into the finals but are dependent on the results of other teams.

The Advanced teams finished, after five rounds, with the following results: SHC#1, four wins; SHC#2, two wins. This means that SHC#1 has an outside chance of breaking.

One of the Premier Junior teams, SHC#2 has finished after seven rounds, with five wins. SHC#1 has one more debate to go and has so far notched up four wins from six. There will be some tense moments as they wait for the mathematicians to make their calculations.
