Anzac Old Boys’ Memorial Mass

This year our Anzac Old Boys’ Memorial Mass was celebrated by Bishop Pat Dunn and assisting were Monsignor Bernard Kiely and Father Stephen Berecz. A large crowd was present and the Choir sang ‘Hymn to ANZAC Day.’ It is gratifying to see many Old Boys who were present and hope that all Old Boys would consider this Memorial Mass an opportunity to pray and reconnect with their community. As always, we appreciate the presence of the Marist Brothers, Defence Forces and the representative of the RSA, all invited guests and the College community.

The collection at Mass for the preservation of archival material raised  $1,089.00.

Each year this Memorial Mass is celebrated to remember all Old Boys who died in the wars of last century, all deceased Old Boys particularly those who have gone to God in this last year. We thank God for the many families, Old Boys and guests who celebrate this annual Remembrance Mass.
