We welcome your interest in Sacred Heart College. Our College has evolved through the vision, dedication and history of Marist Brothers. We inspire our students to be the very best that they can be, to make something special of themselves, no matter what their talents are. We focus on creating supportive, compassionate relationships, both between the boys themselves, the boys and staff, within the staff and wider community. The atmosphere is welcoming, warm and down-to-earth with a deep sense of humility.
Consistent with the special character of the College, preference is given to families with an established connection with the Catholic Church and in accordance with the guidelines approved by the Catholic Bishops of New Zealand in 2003.
Enrolment at Sacred Heart College is primarily for students in Year 7 and 9 for Day boys, and Year 9 for Boarders. However, we do have limited places available in other year levels.

Open Day 2021
All are welcome to attend our Open Day on Wednesday 10 March. Sessions are available at 10am and 1pm, beginning with our Principal’s welcome in the Auditorium, followed by tours of the College. If you would like to attend the Open Day, please register your interest here and we will keep you up to date with further information.

Applications for 2022 will open in Term 1, 2021.
The enrolment process is conducted on an annual basis, with the following timeframes:

||Online applications for Day boy and Boarder enrolments open

||Open Day - if you would like to attend the Open Day, please register your interest here and we will keep you up to date with further information
|Friday 2 April
||Applications close for Day boy and Boarder enrolments
||Interviews will take place during May for Year 7 applicants, and June for Year 9 applicants
||Families will be advised of their application outcome for Year 7 and 9 Day boys, and Year 9 Boarders

- Copy of Birth Certificate or Passport
- Copy of New Zealand Residency or Work Permit (if applicable)
