Golf
The philosophy of Golf at Sacred Heart College is to teach students, who have not played Golf before, the fundamentals of the game, so that they can enjoy it as both a sport and a lifelong hobby.
The Sacred Heart Golf team plays in the Auckland Secondary Schools Regional Stroke Play Championship, in May each year. Players on about a 4 handicap may also play in the Auckland Secondary Schools Gross Competition.
Each year, the top four Golf players at Sacred Heart play off for the Sacred Heart College Championship which is based on the best gross score. This competition is played at the RNZAF Auckland Base Golf Course in Whenuapai.
