Students can sign up for an audition using the form below, or in person at the Music Department.
Premier Concert Band
Students will need to attend an open rehearsal at 7:30am on Tuesday 4 February and auditions will take place during Week 2 of Term 1. Students will be notified of their audition times via email. If students are accepted into the band they will be notified by 7 February 2025. Current band members do not need to audition.
Regular rehearsals will be at 7:30am on Tuesday mornings, starting on 4 February 2025 (unless otherwise advised).
Senior Choir
Students will need to attend an open rehearsal at 7:30am on Tuesday 4 February and auditions will take place during Week 2 of Term 1. Students will be notified of their audition times via email. If students are accepted into the band they will be notified by 7 February.
Regular rehearsals will be 3.30pm - 5pm on Wednesdays starting on 4 February 2025 (unless otherwise advised) and will be conducted by Ms Lilia Carpinelli.
Junior Choir
Regular rehearsals will be at 8am - 8.45am on Wednesday mornings starting on 12 February 2025 and will be conducted by Ms Lilia Carpinelli.
Big Band
Auditions will take place during Week 2 of Term 1. Students will be notified of their audition times via email. If students are accepted into the band they will be notified by 5 February 2025. Current band members do not need to audition.
Regular rehearsals will be at 7:30am on Friday mornings starting on 7 February 2025 and will be conducted by Mr Jonny White.
School Of Rock
School of Rock will be on Monday afternoons from 3:30pm - 4:30pm and will be led by Mr Rowan Uhe. It is a fantastic opportunity for students wishing to play in a rock or pop band and work towards performances at the school fair, Walter Kirby, Legends and Rock Quest competitions.
Rehearsals will begin on 10 February 2025.
String Orchestra
Regular rehearsals will be at 7:30am on Thursday mornings starting on 13 February 2025 and will be conducted by Mr Robert Lovie.
Dunstan’s Band
Regular rehearsals will be at 7:30am on Thursday mornings starting on 13 February 2025.
Junior and Senior Jazz Combo
Auditions will take place during Week 2 of Term 1. Students will be notified of their audition times via email. If students are accepted into the band they will be notified by 7 February 2025.
Regular rehearsals for the Senior Jazz Combo will be from 3:30pm - 4:30pm on Thursday afternoons mornings starting on 13 February and will be led by Mr Jonny White.
