Completed Projects

Over the past twenty years, Sacred Heart College Development Foundation has worked with various key stakeholder groups in completing multiple capital projects to meet the needs of the College and its wider community.

School of Imagination in 2017

The School of Imagination, officially opened by Bishop Patrick Dunn DD (Bishop of Auckland) on 7 April 2017, is the most recent capital project at Sacred Heart College. This brand new two-storey building, which replaces the old School Hall, provides our students and staff with wonderful facilities for artistic performances and collaboration, such as Theatre, Recording Studio, Music Practice Rooms, Teaching Spaces and Knowledge Centre.

Auditorium and Br Sean Hanaray Foyer in 2013

Completed in 2013, the Sacred Heart College Auditorium with seating capacity of up to 1,500 people offers a space where the whole school community can come together for assemblies, performances and prize-givings. The Br Sean Hanaray Foyer, connecting the Auditorium to the School of Imagination, provides a flexible and functional venue for both public and private events. Extensively used by the School and our local community, the Auditorium and Br Sean Hanaray Foyer give Sacred Heart College tremendous exposures and are a great asset to the College.
